Year 2010 Priorities (not in any particular order) DISPLAYS - Provide interesting display materials in the two cases in the Oro Valley Library. Change material every month if possible. Consider having teachers participate by featuring school children history exhibits such as dioramas, etc. COMMUNICATION - Publish Newsletters every two months and keep the OVHS web site updated monthly. PUBLICITY - Actively involve the Explorer and other newspapers to feature OVHS events and activities. Also, consider the Tipster and other sources. MEMBERSHIP - Keep Membership records up to date, solicit renewals and recruit new members. PROGRAMS - Search for interesting topics to present to members and the public at General meetings. Find a better meeting time/day and format than previous third Thursdays at 6:30 PM at the Library. Conduct special tours of the Steam Pump Ranch PROJECTS - Continue to promote and expand the Native American Heritage Garden located at the Steam Pump Ranch. Follow and document Steam Pump Ranch restoration projects ARCHIVAL - Continue work scanning documents and photos in OVHS's archives for preservation purposes and backup purposes.
