Oral Interviews

The Oro Valley Historical Society has  purchased audio recording equipment and computer software to be able to start conducting and editing  its' own oral interviews (October 2006).  A small committee led by Judith James  and Mary Barrelli has been formed to start this initiative.

Audio Equipment carrying case for recorder, mics, headphones, audio mixer, etc.

The Oral Interview committee needs your help to identify subjects and people who may possess information about significant events in the Greater Oro Valley area.  Topics they are planning to start with include the Steam Pump Ranch and the little White School House near Oracle Road and the Canada del Oro wash.

If you have skills, ideas, or know of people who have historical information please contact Judith James (850-8370), or the Oro Valley Historical Society .
