Uncovering Prehistoric Homes in Oro Valley:

Archaeological Excavations at the Honey Bee Village

 

 

Dr. Bill Doelle, President of Desert Archaeology, will provide up-to-the-minute information about their ongoing excavations at Honey Bee Village Archaeological Site. The site area surrounding the Archaeological Preserve is being excavated prior to residential and commercial development by Cañada Vistas Homes. 

 

In addition, there will be a public tour of the site early on Friday morning (July 21^st) led by Henry Wallace of Desert Archaeology who     is directing field work. Specific time is yet to be determined.
