The Board of Directors of the Oro Valley Historical Society is pleased to
make the following announcements:

After the first meeting of the general membership on September 22, 2005,  
Joe and Patsy Frannea announced that they would become lifetime members and
also made an offer to make an additional donation to purchase the
PastPerfect Museum Software that Mr. Frannea will run for the first year.
Joe and Patsy said they would make a contribution to the Society that will
also be accompanied with a matching grant from his former employer, Mobil
Oil Corporation.  Joe also said he would set up an Oro Valley Historical
Society web page which will entitled "ovhistory.org". The Board has accepted
this generous offer and the web site is now up. We are very fortunate and
pleased that the Franneas are participating in the Society.

The second item to bring to your attention is that any member of the society
who joins before December 31, 2005 will be classified as a Charter Member of
the Oro Valley Historical Society.

The next meeting of the Society will be on Tuesday October 18th at 6:30 PM
at the Sunshine School in Oro Valley. If any of you have any item that you
