changes to minutes from meetings 1 and 2

and membership report -- $5,

- Future
meeting location: Jim will request
the Library meeting room for the 3rd Thursday of each month.
- Update
on Honey Bee Village Archaeological Preserve and upcoming excavations by
Pat Spoerl.
- George
Pusch Historical collection:
discussion of archival materials ordered and Past Perfect software
(Joe Frannea) use. Two conditions
relevant to the collection – it stays in Oro Valley and it is not to be destroyed
(per Henry Zipf).
- Revised
brochure: discussion. Comments to be sent to Joe Frannea.
- Fund
raising: discussion of need for
committee and events starting in January by Dick Eggerding.
- Membership
drive: same as above
- Addition
to Board of Directors: nominating
committee to be formed in January for election in March.
- OVHS goals and objectives: bring ideas for Society vision and
priorities to next meeting.
- Information presented by Jim on Arizona
Memory Project.
- New and Old Business: discussion of oral histories.
- Next
Meeting will be January 19, 2006.
