Meeting called to order at 6:30 by President Jim Kriegh.

Business Meeting

 

  1. Financial Report:  89 members and $9.311.22 in funds.
  2.  Report on the combined Town Council and Historic Preservation Commission study session with Bob Shelton (Old Tucson movie memorabilia) by Georgia Hollinger, Pat Spoerl and Jim Kriegh.  Good presentation by Bob Shelton and positive response by Town Council.
  3. Update on White Stallion Ranch fund raising event – only a few places left for the May 6th event.
  4. Discussion of need for someone to volunteer as  Program Chair.

Suggestion that committee reports be incorporated into program for some meetings. Suggestion that presentations be made not just at meetings but also at community schools.

  1. New business.

Jim announced that he and Bob Baughman will be interviewed for an Access Tucson TV program on April 26th at 6:30 PM.

  1. Next Board meeting.  Board to decide.
  2. Discussion of May 18th meeting and need for a program.  No decisions made.
