The Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records - Serves the information needs of Arizona citizens and through its divisions, the Agency provides access to unique historical and contemporary resources. Center for Desert Archaeology - Promotes the stewardship of southwestern archaeology and historic resources in the American Southwest and Mexican Northwest through active research, preservation, and public education. American Association for State and Local History (AASLH) - Provides leadership service, and support for its members, who preserve and interpret state and local history in order to make the past more meaningful in American Society. Arizona Humanities Council (AHC) - AHC supports public programming in the humanities that promotes understanding of human thoughts, actions, creations, and values. AHC works with museums, libraries, and other cultural and educational organizations to bring humanities programs to residents throughout Arizona.
